Projects

Projects are activities that require initial effort to collect, locate, or otherwise assemble data before analyzing it. Often data that you have collected or researched yourself is more interesting to analyze, and raises new and stimulating questions. The additional effort to obtain the data for projects is usually slight. Some projects, however, suggest the joint effort of a committee of students. Many projects are quoted (by permission) from Workshop Statistics by Alan Rossman. Others make use of the ActivStats interactive visualization tools.
